The Data Protection Day 2026 is organized by UZH's local data stewards and provides input lectures and hands-on sessions on data protection issues related to research data.
Morning Program
The input lectures in the morning familiarize participants with important aspects on
- information security
- data protection regulations
- secure data storage
- personal data and AI
- sharing & publishing personal data
- overview of services at UZH
Afternoon Program
The afternoon program is dedicated to discussion with experts and hands-on approaches. Participants are free to rotate every half hour between the different sessions or ask their questions to experts on legal and technical aspects of data protection and data sharing. The hands-on sessions focus on:
- general approaches to data anonymization
- using scdMicro for data anonymization
- data security, classification and storage
- handling MRI data
